Join us for the TIFF Ajax Film Circuit at the St. Francis Centre! 

Here’s your chance to watch films from the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) without driving into the city, dealing with traffic jams and paying for parking - it’s all right here in Ajax! Film selections include Canadian and foreign made films, contemporary cinema and thought-provoking independent films. 

Exhibiting Forgiveness 

Tarrell (André Holland) is an artist on the road to success, but whose life is disrupted by the return of his estranged, formerly abusive father, La’Ron (John Earl Jelks), who is desperate to reconcile. All this takes place amid his mother’s (Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor) declining health. As Tarrell grapples with resurfacing childhood traumas, the film explores themes of forgiveness, familial reconciliation and the complexities of healing. 

Exhibiting Forgiveness received critical acclaim for its authentic portrayal of intergenerational trauma and for the nuanced performances of its cast.
