First Aid and CPR, do you know what to do in an emergency? 

In this session you are going to learn about ways to help yourself, loved ones or colleague in an emergency. Erika will be speaking about common illnesses and injuries, and some of the myths surrounding first aid…have you ever heard “if you are stung by a jelly fish – pee on it”, or “put butter on a burn”? I will be sharing some fun facts to keep you, your family, and colleagues safe, and how to prepare yourself before an emergency occurs. 

Erika Andrusiak is the owner of Durham First Aid Inc. a training partner of the Canadian Red Cross, with a training centre in Oshawa and 15 amazing instructors.  Erika says, she couldn't ask for anything more!  She loves what she does, and takes pride in their courses, instructor development and experience that you obtain when you attend courses at Durham First Aid Inc.
